Hematology/Oncology Physician – INTEGRIS Health Cancer Institute – Oklahoma City, OK INTEGRIS Health Cancer Institute is seeking a BC/BE Hematology/Oncology Physician to join an established and highly collaborative oncology team in Oklahoma City. This is an excellent opportunity to practice comprehensive hematology/oncology care within a leading not-for-profit health system, supported by a multidisciplinary cancer program, advanced treatment capabilities, active tumor boards, and a strong network of specialty and primary care physicians.
The Hematologist-Oncologist will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, contributing to diagnosis, treatment planning, systemic therapy management (including chemotherapy and infusions), and survivorship care. Responsibilities The Physician responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Thoroughly evaluates and manages each patient appropriately and documents information completely by use of written notes or dictation on a timely basis Identifies relevant medical issues accurately and uses appropriate procedures and testing Completes and maintains problem list, medication list, disease management forms, preventative maintenance flow sheets and other medical record forms Participates in the quality improvement and medical management plans as directed by the Medical Operating Committee Provides direction to staff members for an efficient and smooth running team Ensures fiscal viability of the practice Complies with policies and procedures if applicable.
