You’ll need
Certifications
✓CNA training or previous patient care experience required.
✓LICENSE/CERT: Required: BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association), CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant), Phlebotomy Certification within 30 days of hire
Education
✓Required: High School or Equivalent
Qualifications
✓Phlebotomist duties required within 30 days of hire. Hospital experience within last 3 years required Clerical/secretarial experience in a hospital preferred.
✓First Aid Training and basic computer skills.
✓Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task.
About the role
SUMMARY: Responsible to the Nursing Director and under the direction of an RN/Charge Nurse, in a holistic manner, will assist in the care of patients both physiologically and psychologically by providing basic nursing care. The HFC Tech will also be cross trained to perform secretarial tasks.
