Job Summary This position will be working with ACS and hospital locations to ensure that: clinical documents are scanned and/or uploaded to the patient's Medical Record within 48 hours of receipt; patient records are safeguarded and meet compliance and HIPAA Standards; and documents are managed to ensure that records and Medical Record numbers are maintained in their original conditions.
Also, responsible for answering and transferring incoming calls; greeting and assisting with disclosing patient medical records to requestors; and assisting with data entry, filing, and retrieval of patient paper medical records.
School
High School Diploma (Or) GED-High School Equivalency Licenses &
Reg Health Information Technician or RHIA certification preferred Work
Two (2) Years Work Experience in Health Information Management Communication
