Histo Tech

The Histotechnician is responsible for the preparation of tissue specimens for microscopic examination by the pathologist. This role performs a variety of histology procedures including grossing assistance, fixation, processing, embedding, sectioning, and staining of tissue samples. The Histotechnician ensures high-quality, accurate, and timely specimen preparation in compliance with laboratory policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
