Certificate of Completion; Associate's Degree: Related Field; Associate's Degree: Biological Science, Work
Responsibilities Cut routine paraffin sections of surgical and autopsy tissue for microscopic examination in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Prepare equipment and reagents for processing, embedding, microtomy and processing of tissue. Perform routine and special staining techniques.
Label, file, discard and maintain tissue, slides, and blocks. Perform various Quality Control and Quality Assurance procedures to maintain compliance with internal and external regulations and protocols. Evaluates acceptability as associated with department testing.

Compensation and Benefits The compensation range for this position is $27.15per hour - $45.34per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health.
