As the Per Diem Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Hospice is responsible for providing quality patient care and performing technical skilled care in the patient's home. Primary
Performs skilled nursing services under the supervision of a staff RN daily Administers prescribed medications and treatments as permitted by state regulations Assists the physician and/or staff RN in performing specialized procedures as needed Assists the patient with daily activities and encourages appropriate self-care daily Reports to the patient's physician and other appropriate personnel regarding pertinent changes in the patient's condition as needed Performs complex wound care if in-service is documented for specific procedure daily or as needed Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
Required
Current and unrestricted LPN licensure in state of practice Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation
Current CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire Hospice experience Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
