The Hospital Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, safe, and welcoming healthcare environment for patients, visitors, physicians, and staff. This position plays a critical role in infection prevention and control by performing routine and specialized cleaning and disinfection of patient rooms, treatment areas, surgical and procedural areas, offices, waiting rooms, and public spaces throughout the facility.

Clean and disinfect patient rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas Follow infection control and safety guidelines Dispose of waste, including biohazard materials, according to regulations Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and linens Operate cleaning equipment (buffers, vacuums, etc.) Respond promptly to cleaning requests and spills Maintain confidentiality and respect patient privacy Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in housekeeping, preferably in a healthcare setting, is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
