You’ll need
Licensure
✓Active licensure (or eligibility) as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in New York State.
Certifications
✓Current national certification (such as ANCC, or equivalent).
✓Current NCCPA certification.
Education
✓Completion of a master’s, post‑master’s, or doctoral NP program accredited by CCNE or ACEN.
✓Graduation from an ARC‑PA–accredited PA program (or qualifying predecessor program).
Qualifications
✓Experience required in Hospital Medicine or acute care (not open to new graduates at this time).
✓Ability to practice with independence and confidence in a mixed‑acuity inpatient environment.
✓Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing, therapies, and case management.
✓A commitment to patient‑centered, compassionate care.

What you’ll do
Assess, diagnose, and manageAssess, diagnose, and manage hospitalized patients in coordination with the Hospitalist physician

Complete admissions, daily progressComplete admissions, daily progress notes, and discharge planning, including summaries and follow‑up coordination
