Join Duke as a Hospitalist in Durham, NC! Duke Regional Hospital is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine physician to join our nationally recognized Hospital Medicine team in North Durham. This role will be based at our Duke Regional campus, which is a 350-bed facility.
Position Highlights Provide daytime care for hospitalized adult patients at our Duke Regional campus, rotating between the rounding and admitting lines Closed ICU, no procedures expected, target census 10-14 pts/MD, team includes APP model Schedule is typically a 7 on/7 off model Candidate Qualifications MD or DO degree Completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency BC/BE in Internal Medicine Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in North Carolina Why Duke?
