About the role

Coordinates and collaborates with hospital floor staff, including RNs, CNAs, and other clinical staff to ensure meals are provided to patients in a manner to best support their nutritional and medical needs.

Assembles all trays on-timeAssembles all trays on-time for tray service according to diet manual while honoring patient preferences as dictated on diet cards
Interacts and converses withInteracts and converses with patients including asking patients about food preferences and opinions
Receives and properly storesReceives and properly stores orders
Checks temperatures with CookChecks temperatures with Cook before food is served and assists Cook as needed when plating food
