✓Requirements
Licensure
✓RN currently licensed with the Oregon State of Board of Nursing.
Certifications
✓BLS through American Heart Association, ACLS, PALS and NRP required with six months of hire.
✓Trauma Certification required with one year.
Education
✓Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Qualifications
✓A thorough knowledge of nursing principles and procedures; knowledge and skills in techniques of good patient care. Must be able to read and write English, as well as speak and understand English.
✓5 years in an acute care setting 2 years of supervisory experience required - Critical Care or Emergency Department preferred.
✓Physical Demands and Work Environment Conditions / ADA Compliance
✓Ability to lift and transfer patients is required, usually with the assistance of co-workers.
✓Normal or corrected vision is required.
✓Normal or corrected hearing is necessary to distinguish differences in monitor alarms, heartbeats, and breathing.
✓Manual dexterity is required to operate equipment.
✓Subject to physical and emotional stress of work environment.
