Work closely with theWork closely with the emergency department (ED), intensive care units (ICU), med-surg floors, and ancillary departments (lab, imaging, pharmacy) to avoid bottlenecks
Manage staffing by evaluatingManage staffing by evaluating unit needs based on census, patient acuity, and absences
Reallocates existing staff andReallocates existing staff and coordinates float pool, per diem, or agency support
