Compensation Details: $24,200.80 - $26,540.80

Under general supervision, performs any combination of duties to maintain order, sanitation and cleanliness in facilities. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Include: Cleans and straightens assigned areas. Collect, sorts, launders, transports, and distributes linens and uniforms.

Observes required safety precautions in disposing of contaminated refuse. Maintains and stocks equipment and supplies as needed. Ensures laundry, housekeeping and floor equipment is in good working condition.

May mend linens and assist in preventative maintenance and repair.

Include: Must have some basic knowledge of housekeeping, cleaning chemicals, and how to operate some equipment used in cleaning 2 years of job related experience, able to lift and/or move 10-20 lbs.

One (1) year of experience in related area of assignment; or one (1) year of experience at the lower level Housekeeper 1 (FES040) or position equivalent.
