Provides environmental cleaning services. Responsible to maintain the facility in a sanitary, neat, attractive and safe condition at all times. Responsible to maintain the floors running heavy cleaning equipment, walls and baseboards in a clean manner including stripping and refinishing, carpet cleaning, and burnishing.
Responsibilities Sanitizes all surfaces of the facility using a germicidal cleaner. Performs dust mop and mopping all tile floors. Performs burnishing of floors.
Performs carpet cleaning and vacuuming. Strips and refinishes floors. Removes infectious and non-infectious waste.
Performs project cleaning in designated areas. Cleans walls, doors, and baseboards, picks up trash and delivers linen/laundry. Maintains accurate records including discharges, pager sign-out sheets, cart sign-out sheets, and Kronos corrections.
Other related job tasks or responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Special Skills Knowledge of floor care equipment. Ability to read in English to follow oral and/or written instructions.
Ability to prioritize work. Must have good customer service skills. Preferred Requirements
High school or equivalent preferred to enable individual to follow oral or written instruction in English.
Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare environment preferred. #LI-SB3
