✓Requirements
Education
✓Bachelor's degree in related area and 3+ years of related work experience
✓Thorough knowledge of University rules and regulations, processes, protocols and procedures for budget, accounting and fund management, and / or personnel management
✓Solid knowledge of common University-specific computer application programs
Qualifications
✓and / or equivalent experience / training.
✓Knowledge of human resources principles and administrative operations
✓Interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication, active listening, critical thinking, persuasiveness, advising and counseling skills
✓Strong skills in short-term planning, analysis, problem-solving, and customer service
✓Strong ability to balance the needs of multiple stakeholders and pivot between multiple tasks
✓Ability to meet deadlines and follow through on assigned duties in an independent manner
✓Ability to use high-level discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality
✓Solid skills in problem identification
✓Ability to work well under pressure
✓Ability to work well with others and as part of a team
✓Adept with technology and quick learner of new technology
Knowledge of a variety of administrative operational activities such as event planning, basic fundraising processes, risk management planning, website design, accounting and payroll, and contracts and grants regulations and guidelines. preferred
Experience working in higher education, academic medicine, or healthcare preferred
Experience with Oracle, MyTime, or other UCSF enterprise systems preferred
