Education
✓High School diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
✓Familiarity with regulatory requirements for hospital HVAC systems, such as those from the Joint Commission, ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers), and NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) preferred.
✓Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills to quickly identify and fix issues with HVAC systems.
✓Knowledge of electrical systems, as many HVAC systems are integrated with electrical controls
✓Understanding safety protocols and regulations.
✓Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
✓Strong problem solving sills and attention to detail.
✓Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
✓This position is a Safety Sensitive Position.
Minimum of two years of experience in HVAC maintenance and repair, preferably in a commercial or institutional setting. preferred
5+ years’ experience in HVAC systems, preferably in the healthcare setting preferred.
Arkansas class A, B, or C HVACR- preferred.
Experience with HVAC systems that are uniquely designed for healthcare environments, such as those used in operating rooms, patient rooms, and laboratories preferred.
Proficiency in installing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of HVAC systems, including air handlers, chillers, boilers, and refrigeration units preferred
