Responsibilities The HVAC Mechanic perform s maintenance, repair, and operation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems within a hospital environment.

E nsure s proper indoor air quality, temperature control, and system functionality to support patient care and facility operations. Additionally, follow s safety standards, infection control protocols, and regulatory requirements to maintain compliance. Supports preventive maintenance programs and respond to service needs in a timely manner.

C ontributes to a safe, efficient, and reliable healthcare environment. Qualifications Job

High school diploma or equivalent. 3+ years’ experience in HVAC maintenance and repair in a commercial or healthcare environment. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Section 608 Certification. Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical and mechanical components, and Building Automation Systems (BAS).

Preferred Job

Technical or vocational training in HVAC or a related field. Experience working in a hospital or healthcare environment. HVAC Journeyman license or equivalent credential.
