Certifications
✓Four years work experience in a similar position or an equivalent of education and experience EPA technician certification for refrigerant handling
✓EPA technician certification for refrigerant handling
Education

Qualifications
✓Two years-technical school training or job related equipment-training seminars in HVAC/refrigeration mechanics
✓Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing with peers, supervisors, and campus population
✓Ability to work from as-built mechanical, electrical, and site drawings to identify and analyze HVAC and refrigeration equipment malfunctions and performs remedial skilled work
✓Ability to wear a respirator
✓Must possess a valid California Driver License and participate in the DMV Pull Notice Program
✓Must be able to operate a Facilities Management vehicle
✓Must be willing to work early mornings, evenings, and/or weekends as necessary
✓Must be able to outside regularly scheduled shift
✓May work near high voltage, must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment and be able to climb ladders
