You’ll need
Certifications
Refrigeration usage certification, preferred.
NYC Q-01 Refrigeration Certification – strongly preferred
EPS 608 Universal Technician Certification – strongly preferred
Valid Certificate of Fitness – S-95/G-60/F-60 - strongly preferred
Education
✓High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
✓Vocational High School graduate with two (2) years technical courses in
Qualifications
✓heating, ventilation and air conditioning.
✓Minimum two (2) years experience in heating, ventilation and air conditioning
✓Refrigeration license, preferred.
✓such as charging gauges, pumps, etc., electrical measuring meters, central
✓chiller systems, cooling towers, knowledge of computer system for controlling
✓HVAC systems using direct digital controls, required.
✓Strong verbal and written communication. Manual dexterity. Ability to work
✓independently. Team player. Ability to read and trace circuits from prints. Read
✓and interpret blueprints and diagrams. Ability to use hand and power tools.
✓Working knowledge of all building, grounds, facilities and department work
✓areas, required.
Knowledge of refrigeration tools preferred
