Certifications
✓Current Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT) certification by the National Board of Diving and Hyperbaric Medical Technology.
✓If not certified upon hire, certification must be obtained within nine (9) months of entrance into the position.
✓Current BLS certification.
Education
✓Associate’s degree in science or related field
Qualifications
✓Seeing, hearing, speaking, grasping, fingering, lifting up to ½ pound.
✓Frequent: Sitting, standing, walking, bending/stooping below waist level, squatting, twisting, reaching above, at and below shoulders, repetitive arm/hand motion, lifting up to 10 pounds.
✓Occasional: Kneeling, crouching, climbing, walking on uneven ground, horizontal lift/carry up to 75 pounds with assistance, floor to waist up to 35 pounds and pushing/pulling weight to 70 psi.
✓Operates computer and various office and medical equipment.
✓Operates hyperbaric oxygen chambers.
✓or two (2) years experience in hyperbaric chamber operations may be substituted for the educational experience.
✓In addition to the educational requirement, minimum two (2) years of current experience performing maintenance and safety aspects of chamber operations.
