You’ll need
Licensure
✓Minimum of six (6) months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse required
✓Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date)
Certifications
✓Current American Heart Association BLS Certification required
✓ACLS certification
✓Stroke Certified Unit
✓The stroke rehabilitation program has received the Joint Commissions Gold Seal of Approval® for Disease-Specific Care Certification of Stroke Rehabilitation
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
Education
✓Associate’s Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required
✓Associate degree
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
Qualifications
✓The professional Registered Nurse (RN) is the patient and patient’s family advocate
One (1) year of Registered Nurse experience in acute care settings preferred
