You’ll need
Certifications
EPA Universal Certification preferred.
Education
✓High school diploma or equivalent required.
Trade school education preferred.
Qualifications
✓Minimum of two (2) years of commercial or industrial maintenance experience required.
✓Ability to remain calm and perform effectively in high-pressure and emergency situations.
✓Ability to work collaboratively with Security and follow established safety and facility protocols while on duty.
✓Basic knowledge of healthcare regulatory and compliance requirements.
Experience in electrical systems and HVAC is strongly preferred, including at least one year working in these areas.
Strong working knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general mechanical equipment. preferred
Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve maintenance issues efficiently. preferred
Understanding of workplace safety practices, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. preferred
Familiarity with maintenance practices in a healthcare or hospital environment. preferred
Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments. preferred
