Certifications
✓BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart ‘Healthcare Provider’ (HCP) - AHA approved required *
✓New hires must have American Heart Association (AHA) appropriate certification prior to completion of orientation.
Education
High School Diploma or GED with computer keyboard knowledge preferred
Qualifications
✓Competent to effectively interact/communicate with patients of various age groups to include infant, toddler, adolescent, adult and geriatric.
✓Effectively interact/communicate with physicians and other health care professionals.
✓Medical Terminology required or completed on the job.
✓Ability to recognize patient needs and notify appropriate personnel.
✓Proficiency in the use of Windows based PC environment is required.
✓Must be an organized “detail-type” person, able to work without direct supervision.
✓Must be able to work weekdays/weekends/Holidays any shift.

Previous hospital and/or health care experience preferred with telecommunication skills or medical office experience.
