Provides secretarial support by performing a variety of office procedures (filing, record-keeping, inventory, answering phone, etc.). Promotes positive relations with other departments, physicians, and the public through accurate and timely communication (verbal and written) in a professional and confidential manner. Under broad direction, this position performs administrative/financial functions for the department and diversified office duties for Medical Imaging.
Screens and refers all incoming calls and department visitors to ensure that accurate and timely departmental communication is facilitated and that the department is presented in a positive mannerProactively oversees schedules and maintains schedules for appropriate areasDistributes mail to appropriate individualMaintains departmental records and establishes departmental filing system to ensure the expeditious retrieval of informationOther Functions:Attends all UofL Health required educational programs as well as all KNOW modulesContributes to the efficient operation and monitoring of the department and utilizes our resources efficientlyDemonstrates complete working knowledge of equipment within assigned areaResponsible for ensuring required certifications are up-to-dateMaintains compliance with all company policies, procedures and standards of conductComplies with HIPAA privacy and security requirements to maintain confidentiality at all timesPerforms other duties as assignedAdditional
High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent (required)Bachelor’s Degree in related field (preferred)
