Certifications
Qualify as a candidate for certification as a CRES by AAMI (Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation) preferred
Education
✓Associate's degree in Engineering or Biomedical Equipment Technology
✓Two (2) years of military training in clinical equipment or vocational training in electronics may substitute for degree requirement
Qualifications
✓Valid driver's license with a good driving record for off-site service calls
A professional level of knowledge in engineering and preferably radiology imaging equipment in order that such equipment be maintained and operational in accordance with established safety and performance standards preferred
Three (3) years of experience as an Imaging Engineer, preferably in a healthcare setting preferred
