Imaging File Room Receptionist Employee will greet Imaging patients, and escort them to proper modality. Employee should be self-motivated and demonstrate the ability to multitask in a high volume phone call environment. Providing excellent customer service and the ability to communicate well with patient visitor and staff is required.
Employee will be responsible for burning DVD's, transferring Images, printing Imaging reports, faxing, copying, answering phones, transferring call and taking messages all while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Roles and
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by ensuring waiting areas, changing rooms, and visitor amenities are fully stocked and compliant with organizational and regulatory standards. Deliver exceptional customer service through professional communication, proper phone etiquette, teamwork, and a patient-focused approach to interactions with patients, visitors, and staff. Adhere to HIPAA, patient identification, infection control, and hand hygiene policies while maintaining required certifications and competencies.
Utilize healthcare technology and imaging systems effectively, including PACS, Meditech, email platforms, image transfer software, and related applications to support departmental operations. Demonstrate flexibility and initiative by multitasking, assisting radiologists and team members, participating in training and staff meetings, onboarding new employees, and performing additional duties as needed.
