The vibrant, family and community culture offers you the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues and focus on improving patient care.In this role, the Imaging Technologist is responsible for the preparation and execution of primarily MRI services. You’ll have an exciting opportunity to warmly greet & welcome patients/visitors/staff & assist radiologists and other physicians in performing exams when necessary. Additional duties include to assess patient condition, produce good quality radiographic images, & ensure adherence to safety standards. This position will primarily cover MRI.This is a part-time position, working every Saturday 6:30am - 9:00pm. This position will cover Brooklyn Methodist Hospital (BMH) inpatient and outpatient services, and Center for Community Health (CCH) coverage as needed. Preferred Criteria:N.Y. State Department of Health IV CertificationARRT Advanced Modality certificationAt least 1 year of experienceRequired Criteria:High School Diploma or equivalentGraduate from an accredited program in the school of Radiologic TechnologyN.Y.
