Temporary Part-Time PRN (as needed) / Shifts vary The In-House Agency Plus Program offers PRN employment for 13-week intervals. Participants are required to work 36 hours per week for 13 weeks and will be paid a competitive hourly rate plus applicable weekend differentials. As a condition of participation, nurses must be willing and able to provide Med/Surg staffing support across multiple UAMS locations based on specialty, qualifications, competencies, patient care needs, and staffing requirements. 2 or more years of RN experience Employees in this role must be fitted for, capable of donning and performing routine tasks in personal protective equipment to include N95 masks, Powered Air Purifying Respirators (PAPR) or Controlled Air Purifying Respirators (CAPR). Additional Information: The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide direct patient care as an RN. This professional nursing role will require the ability to coordinate care for patients, triage patients, and work collaboratively with clinic providers, fellows, and staff.
Requires the ability to effectively work with patient referral sources, facilitate appointments, coordinate transitions of care, and provide patient education on complex conditions. The RN will work with the individual patient, their families, and providers of care to develop and implement individual health plans.
