Inpatient Medical (Hospitalist)- Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant- Piedmont Atlanta

IMS/Inpatient Advanced Practitioner needed for Piedmont Atlanta Piedmont Healthcare is recruiting for a full-time Inpatient PA/NP to work with multiple physicians on our Atlanta campus, located in the heart of Buckhead. This position will have no call responsibilities and 10 hour - variable shifts (2p -12a. 7 days on and 7 days off). Responsibilities In this role you will: Examine, evaluate, and treat patients with serious medical conditions, illness or injuries.

Take patient histories, conduct physical examinations and record data in patient’s medical record. Evaluate and treat patients to achieve optimal patient care. Write progress notes; prepare patient work-ups and summaries noting pertinent positive and negative findings.

Develop plans of care that minimize complications and successfully troubleshoot problems when they arise. Apply preventative and alternative treatment strategies for possible procedural complications. Piedmont

Minimum of 3 years of IMS/Inpatient experience with a high degree of clinical judgment preferred
