If you meet these qualifications, we would love to meet you:Must be a licensed Medical Doctor (M. D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D. O.) in the state(s) of practice, with training or experience in caring for chronically or terminally ill patientsMaintains active, unrestricted medical and DEA licenses in the state of TexasStrong knowledge of primary care and palliative care principlesExpertise in pain and symptom management(Preferred) Board certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine(Preferred) Experience in hospice, home-based care, or community-based palliative care programs(Preferred) Prior leadership or medical director experienceResponsibilities:Provide expert guidance on pain and symptom management to clinicians and care teamsReview appropriateness and quality of non-hospice palliative care services across the continuum of careCollaborate with the Medical Director to ensure clinical excellence and adherence to best practicesConduct periodic reviews of patient care delivery and outcomesEnsure timely, accurate, and complete clinical documentation in accordance with organizational policiesProvide ongoing mentorship, education, and performance feedbackLead monthly meetings with palliative care clinicians and support staffParticipate in leadership meetings with the Medical Director, Executive Director, and senior leadershipMonitor program performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Why AccentCare?
