Full-time 40 hours per week | Rotating schedule Monday-Sunday between 5:00am and 10:30pm How you’ll make an impact in this role Provide distributive pharmacy services and technical support for the pharmacist prior to receiving certification. Refill and maintain automated dispensing systems. Prepare order and maintain inventory for the pharmacy department.
Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounds Repackage bulk medications. Serve as liaison between pharmacy, patient and health professional by providing information as necessary. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Wisconsin Pharmacy Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Must provide proof of application to register with the Wisconsin Pharmacy Examining Board and once registration is granted, must be maintained. Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association preferred. Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) preferred.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Additional Preferences: Must be WI State Licensed. Must be PTCB certified.
Must have Pharmacy Hospital Experience, and Non Hazardous and Hazardous IV room Experience.
