Certifications
✓Current BLS/CPR certification required within one month of hire.
✓YNHPH Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) initial certification and annual recertification required.
✓Initial certification must be completed within probationary period of employment.
Education
Associate degree in Psychology, Counseling or other health-related field; Bachelor degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualifications
✓Basic computer skills required for data entry, email, smart web paging, mobile heartbeat (MHB) and ability to access the electronic medical record.
✓Ability to work independently.
✓Strong interpersonal skills.
✓Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment, communicate and effectively deal with complex affective-charged situations and possess group facilitation and crisis management skills.
Minimum 1-2 years of direct clinical experience working in mental health settings, including the provision of group and individual patient activities. Experience with specialized populations such as emotionally dysregulated adults and adolescents is preferred.
