Liaison Psychiatry positionProvide psychiatric consultation services for hospitalized patients on medical, surgical, ICU, and emergency department unitsCollaborate closely with hospitalists, intensivists, surgeons, neurologists, and other specialty providersEvaluate and manage a broad range of psychiatric conditions, including:DeliriumDepression and anxietySubstance use disordersCapacity assessmentsAgitation and behavioral disturbancesPsychosisCatatoniaParticipate in multidisciplinary treatment planning and care coordinationUtilize Epic electronic medical record systemOpportunity to mentor medical students and residents through Wellstar's academic partnershipsStrong support from behavioral health leadership and integrated care teamsQualificationsMD or DO from an accredited medical schoolBoard Certified or Board Eligible in PsychiatryEligible for or currently holding an unrestricted Georgia medical licenseFellowship training or experience in Consultation
