Our Medical/Surgical team provides high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse inpatient population, working closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, care managers, rehabilitation specialists, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Baystate Wing Hospital is a Joint Commission-accredited, 74-bed community hospital and designated Primary Stroke Service serving Central and Western Massachusetts. The Inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) Will: Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate safe, high-quality patient care.
Monitor patient conditions, identify changes in status, and intervene appropriately to support positive outcomes. Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established policies, procedures, and clinical standards. Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, discharge planning, and health management.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, patient safety efforts, and shared governance activities. Support a culture of compassion, professionalism, teamwork, and respect for patients, families, and colleagues.

Successfully passed the Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR certification required. Diploma in Nursing required.
& Skills Previous inpatient nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting. Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient care skills. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
