✓Certified Professional in Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) Administration (CPIA) by Public Responsibility in Medicine and Research (PRIM&R)
Education
✓At least a Bachelor's Degree is required.
Qualifications
✓Basic knowledge of federal regulations and Public Health Service policies and guidelines regarding animal welfare in research.
✓Basic organizational, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills and the ability to comfortably interact with various levels of management, research faculty, staff, and students.
✓Must be detail-oriented with time management skills.
✓Proficient knowledge of MS Office
✓At least two (2) years of related experience in the area of animal care and use, institutional review, research administration, audit, or other area of research, compliance, or oversight required
✓Employees must permanently reside and work in the State of Texas.
