Education
✓A Bachelor’s Degree in specific instructional area OR two years of college course work in major study area AND two years experience in painting and printmaking studio work/support.
Valid automobile driver’s license and willingness to drive university vehicles as needed preferred
Qualifications
Extensive understanding of health and safety concerns specific to Painting and Printmaking processes preferred
Ability to research and implement new or innovative technical methods and ideas when necessary preferred
Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work with a diverse group of people with tact, diplomacy, discretion, and sensitivity preferred
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities under pressure and remain highly adaptable to changing priorities in a high-volume academic setting preferred
Effective and efficient in organizing tasks and projects preferred
Ability to quickly learn and apply new or unfamiliar technologies preferred
Working experience in a similar shop facility in an educational institution preferred
Familiarity with various approaches and materials common to printmaking, painting or drawing preferred
Basic carpentry skills preferred
