FlexStaff is seeking an Intake Navigator III to support Medicare and Medicaid eligibility, enrollment, and entitlement processes for our client, a non-profit organization that provides home healthcare services to the elderly, disabled and chronically ill in the New York metropolitan area . This role will handle paperwork, resolve eligibility issues, assist with reporting, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Responsibilities Manage Medicare/Medicaid eligibility and entitlement issues Review and upload enrollment paperwork Work with Social Work, Finance, and other departments Verify eligibility in systems such as E-Paces and MARX Resolve disenrollment, denials, appeals, and Medicaid loss issues Prepare reports and support compliance efforts Liaise with agencies such as HRA, LDSS, NYSDOH, and CMS Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred 2–3 years of experience with Medicaid, Medicare, MLTC, MAP, D-SNP, PACE, or related social services/government work Strong knowledge of eligibility and entitlement rules Excellent communication, organization, and computer skills Experience with Care Compass, E-Paces, MARX, or Tableau preferred *Additional Salary Detail The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
