This internship is designed for college students who are interested in exploring paths towards a career in healthcare administration or academic administration. The internship will provide the Intern with an overview of the specific hiring department and provide hands on training. Several examples of Business Intern positions throughout Loma Linda University Health in the following areas; Finance and Accounting, Human Resource Management, Physician Practice Administration, Process Improvement, Public Relations and Marketing, Revenue Cycle, and Risk Management.

No experience required. Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university with field of study in Business, Communications, or related field. Member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church required.
Knowledge and
Able to read; write legibly; speak in English with professional quality; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position; Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; collaborate and accept direction.
