Manage both inpatient and outpatient interventional/invasive cardiology patients.
Subspecialize in a broad range of interventional/invasive cardiology care: ACS, PCI, CTO, structural heart disease, renal denervation, and PE program. Manage medication management, peri-procedural care, post-procedural outpatient follow-up, and long-term outpatient follow-up. Cross-coverage in general cardiology will be involved, with training provided.
Hours: Full-time, with occasional weekend and holiday coverage on a rotational basis among the cardiology APP group. Supporting Locations: Forsyth Medical Center, NH Cardiology Kimel Park, NH Cardiology Kimel Annex, NH Cardiology Highland Oaks Why Choose Novant Health?
Master's Degree or higher Required. Graduate of an NCCPA accredited Physician Assistant or Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program required. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current NP or PA license in appropriate state Required.
NCCPA, AANP, or ANCC Board Certification and current DEA registry Required. BLS and ACLS certification required (training available).
1-3 years of cardiology experience required. Additional Skills Required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Ability to work with management team and physicians; demonstrated customer service skills, interpersonal skills and communication skills.
