Rotating | PRN How you’ll make an impact in this role Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging as an Interventional Technologist by conducting complex organ and body scans during specialized cardiac procedures. Support patient safety by accurately positioning individuals and selecting technical parameters for advanced vascular and nonvascular interventional therapeutic treatments. Administer contrast media and medications while monitoring patients for abnormal clinical activity.
Maintain rigorous clinical documentation and radiation safety protocols to ensure full compliance with regulatory agency standards and healthcare quality benchmarks. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to refine imaging protocols and assist radiologists with specialized procedures and therapeutic interventions. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted required. Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Texas Medical Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. One or more of the following required: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Cardiographic Tech specializing in Electrophysiology credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) ) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Vascular Interventional Radiography, Cardiac Interventional Radiography and Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography also accepted.
