How you’ll make an impact in this role Deliver high-impact patient care in the Pediatric Cardiac Cath Lab by performing life-saving diagnostic and interventional cardiac imaging procedures for infants, children and adolescents. Lead critical care coordination during complex pediatric cardiac procedures to provide essential diagnostic aid and support the interdisciplinary team.
Administer contrast media and medications accurately while monitoring pediatric patient vitals to ensure safety and clinical quality during fast-paced emergency interventions. Support the Radiologist and clinical team by maintaining precise technical parameters and clinical documentation within a rapid-response pediatric cardiovascular setting. Implement strict radiation safety protocols and quality improvement standards to ensure operational excellence and superior patient outcomes in high-pressure situations.
What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Texas Medical Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
One or more of the following required: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Cardiographic Tech specializing in Electrophysiology credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Vascular Interventional Radiography, Cardiac Interventional Radiography and Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography also accepted.
