Interventional Radiology Tech- Lead - La Jolla Green

• Located on the Torrey Pines Mesa near I-5 and Genesee Avenue in La Jolla, Scripps Green Hospital has served the greater San Diego community since 1977. This position includes an Incentive of $15,000 and a Relocation Incentive of $3,000 to eligible new hires. This is a benefited, full-time position (80 hours per pay period) with 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This Lead IR Tech role requires a rotation of after-hours call coverage, flexibility throughout the week (including weekends and holiday call). The position is located at Scripps Green Hospital in La Jolla. Main responsibilities include : Responsible for providing age specific care, education and imaging procedures in conjunction with other members of the defined health care team. Monitor that appropriate equipment is available for procedures Train staff and maintain competency level of 2-3 techs Adheres to safety standards and regulatory requirements; participates in QC and Pl activities; maintains own clinical competency and mandatory requirements. Functions as liaison between state and federal agencies for licensure, certification, and QA requirements for the entire Interventional Radiology department. Maintains all records as needed to verify that regulations are being maintained at all times. CRT Fluoro BLS from the American Heart Association Completion of a formal training/educational program in an approved school of Radiology Imaging experience in a hospital or clinic setting Excellent interpersonal skills

ARRT (VI) Vascular Interventional Radiography 1-2 years of experience is strongly preferred.
