WakeMed is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our Angiography team. In this role, you will assist physicians in performing a wide range of diagnostic and interventional procedures while operating advanced angiographic imaging equipment in accordance with radiation safety standards. This position plays a critical role in delivering safe, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, procedural environment and includes a call rotation for after-hours support.

Prepare for procedures by reviewing patient profiles, physician orders, and ensuring readiness of equipment and suppliesOperate angiographic imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic and procedural imagesMonitor patients’ condition, safety, and comfort throughout procedures; promptly report any changesAdjust and maintain imaging equipment; perform routine testing and troubleshoot minor issuesAccurately document clinical and diagnostic data within electronic medical record systemsCollaborate with physicians and clinical staff to support diagnostic interpretation and interventional outcomesMaintain a safe, efficient workflow while prioritizing patient care and procedural needs What We’re Looking For:Strong technical expertise in interventional or diagnostic imagingAbility to thrive in a high-acuity, fast-paced procedural environmentExcellent patient care and monitoring skillsStrong communication and teamwork abilitiesCommitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement Education &
