The Lab Assistant assists laboratory technical staff by performing various pre-analytical and support functions. Orders and verifies specimens. Performs pre-analytical specimen preparation.
Processes referral testing. Processes specimen rejections. Responds to customer requests.
Qualifications Job
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required. Previous laboratory experience preferred. Previous phlebotomy experience preferred.
Exerting up to 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10-25 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible up to 10 pounds amount of force often.
