About the role

What you’ll do
Under the direct supervisionUnder the direct supervision of a Medical Technologist, the lab assistant provides lab support and:
Properly prepares and identifiesProperly prepares and identifies samples for laboratory testing
Controls inventory ordering andControls inventory ordering and supplies to maintain adequate stock
Accurately reports patient resultsAccurately reports patient results in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
Retrieves and transports specimensRetrieves and transports specimens to appropriate locations
