Qualifications
✓· Intermediate level of computer knowledge and experience
· Prior laboratory experience or hospital registration experience preferred
· Knowledge of ICD-10 coding preferred
· Knowledge of insurance preferred

About the role
Lab assistants will work with the Lab Techs in the department to ensure specimens are processed appropriately as needed, load/unload the automation line, investigate automation line errors and issues, investigate specimen issues, assist lab techs with department maintenance including automation line, centrifuges, refrigerators, and freezers as needed, and other job duties as assigned.
