Education
✓Current University of Arkansas System employees, including student employees and graduate assistants, need to log in to Workday via MyApps.
✓High School Diploma, GED or formal education equivalent.
Qualifications
✓Two years of clinical laboratory experience
✓Ability to follow oral instruction, read and write.
✓Computer/basic keyboard skills.
✓Telephone etiquette skills.
✓Must have excellent customer service skills.
✓Experience with medical coding/billing
✓Investigate outreach specimen issues by ensuring all patient demographics are obtained, orders are correct and specimen reaches the proper laboratory department.
✓Ensure all billing information is documented in EPIC.
✓Ensure test is received in the correct tube/container type.
✓Scan specimens into the EPIC system and re-label the specimens as needed.
✓Enter orders into EPIC through requisition entry for all outside institutions.
✓Process add-on test.
✓Answers phone calls concerning results, faxing reports, specimen collection and ordering test.
✓Scan requisitions received with labs from institutional accounts into EPIC.
✓Call critical results to clinics as needed.
✓Fill out all Safety Intelligence reports and deliver them to the Quality Manager.
✓This position will perform other duties as assigned.
✓Annual TB Screening, Criminal Background Check, Substance Abuse Testing
