The Laboratory Technical Support Specialist is a multi-skilled position that efficiently processes patient and specimen workflow to support the Laboratory's commitment to provide accurate, reliable, and timely information to clinicians. The Laboratory Technical Support Specialist (TSS) provides professional, courteous, and competent phlebotomy and/or clerical services for Hospital inpatients, outpatients, physicians, nursing staff, and support services.
QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent Three months phlebotomy experience in hospital setting, includes venipuncture for all ages and neonatal capillary collection preferred. Computer
Basic PC based knowledge required; experience with networked environments and medical-clinical applications preferred. Available to work weekends on a rotational basis and holidays as needed. Available to work flexible hours (varied start times).
May be scheduled to any ECH location/drawstation depending on need. Available enterprise-wide and other shifts occasionally as needed for work assignments. License/Certification/Registration Requirements California Phlebotomy Certification (CPT 1) Salary Range: $36.64 - $46.34 USD Hour The Physical Requirements and Working Conditions of this job are available.
