The Lab Tech II – Specimen Processing is responsible for the accurate receipt, identification, processing, and distribution of patient specimens to support timely and accurate laboratory testing. This position ensures specimens are handled according to established laboratory procedures while maintaining quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The Lab Tech II works collaboratively with laboratory staff, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

Monday – Friday: 12:30pm-9:00pm Weekend Rotation: Every 3rd weekend Holidays: As needed Pre-Employment
We are a drug free facility. Passing a pre-employment drug screening is required. Education
Validation of a High School diploma or equivalent is required. Job
At least one (1) year of phlebotomy experience is required. Previous laboratory, specimen processing, or healthcare experience preferred. Knowledge of laboratory safety practices and specimen handling procedures preferred.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Basic computer proficiency and experience with laboratory information systems preferred.
