You will work closely with our medical technologists and clinical laboratory scientists to maintain regulatory compliance and high-quality standards. This is an essential position for detail-oriented professionals who are passionate about patient safety and contributing to the efficiency of a fast-paced diagnostic environment.
Every day you will manage the lifecycle of laboratory specimens, from proper patient identification and labeling to aliquoting and loading samples onto high-tech instrumentation. Your routine will involve conducting department support tasks—such as culture plating and histology staining—while monitoring supply inventories, performing routine equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting any technical or specimen-related issues.
Additionally, you may perform phlebotomy for all age groups and execute CLIA-waived or moderately complex testing, ensuring all results are validated against strict quality control protocols. To be successful in this role, you will bring a strong foundation in laboratory procedures, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to adhering to all safety and regulatory guidelines.
